Parkway Wrestling is open to any Boston resident in grades 3-8 who wants to compete in the great sport of wrestling. The club is staffed by volunteer coaches, many of whom have coached at Boston high schools. The team will conduct practices in West Roxbury but the club is open to all Boston residents.
The club will run two teams, one for grades 3-4 and one for grades 5-8. The season takes place over twelve weeks, starting in December, with practices twice a week in the evening and Saturday competitions in February for the 5-8 team.
The club focuses on teaching good sportsmanship and the fundamentals of wrestling. Unlike most other sports, you can never be too big or too small for wrestling. Wrestling teaches discipline and accountability while building physical fitness. So if you want to learn a combat sport and compete for a state championship, register to join the Parkway Wrestling today.
